The classic arcade game from 1991, Turtles in Time,  is being re-done with brand new 3D-HD graphics.  The game was originally supposed to be priced at 1200 Microsoft Points ($15), but has now been reduced to 800 Points($10) by Ubisoft before it has even been released.  Ubisoft has said that this is for the the loyal TMNT fans and to also celebrate the game’s 25th anniversary.  The game comes out on August 5th on the Xbox Live Marketplace and PSN will see it’s release in August as well.  Here are the achievements below:

Interestingly enough, this weekend if you are a silver member of Xbox Live you will get gold free this weekend…. for Gears of War 2 ONLY.  I suppose this is to promote the new DLC and try and eventually suck as much money out of people as possible.  I couldn’t imagine what kind of riots would occur if a Call of Duty game said ‘We are having double XP.. only on a new map pack that you have to buy.’  Anyway, silver members, enjoy the Gears Gold for the weekend.

We all know by now that buying the Hardened or Prestige Edition of Modern Warfare 2 will get you a token code to download Call of Duty 1 for the XBLA or PSN.  The game will also have multiplayer in it as well.  Robert Bowling has recently released information letting us know that the people that get the Hardened or Prestige Edition of MW2 will be the first to play Call of Duty Classic for the arcade.  Everyone else will be able to download it at a later unnanounced date after November 10th.  Not that it matters all that much because you will be to busy playing Modern Warfare 2 to even think about playing COD1, but if you want to be the first to get some achievements or trophies for the first time in COD1, you should pick up one of the special edtions of Modern Warfare 2.

Most of the songs that will be in Guitar Hero 5 were previously released but now an official list of the full 85 song set list has been released.  The game will hit shelves on September 1st for Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Playstation 1 and Wii.  GH5 will also feature character models in the game such as Kurt Cobain and Shirley Manson from Garbage among others.  Here is the list:

So soon after Call of Duty had it’s second map pack for DLC, is now a third one coming August 6th.  It will once again feature three new multiplayer maps as well as a new nazi zombie map entitled ‘Der Riese’.  Der Riese will have teleporters and stations to upgrade your weapons and even give them a different look as well as new weapons (the bowe knife/monkey bomb).  The DLC will add 10 new achievements to the game and they are as follows:

• 40 Knives!:
Kill 40 zombies with the bowie knife.
• Acquire Waffle Weapons!:
Obtain the Ray Gun, DG-2, and the Monkey Bomb at the same time in a game.

• Der electrican!:
Link all teleport pads before round 7.

• Frequent Flyer!:
Use the teleporter 8 times.

• Locksmith!:
Open all doors in the map.

• The Might of the Monkey!:
Use the Monkey Bomb.

Apparently Valve accidently let loose info on the next Team Fortress 2 update for the PC and then quietly took it down from the TF2 site.  Still no word yet on any details for an Xbox 360 update for the game.   Here are some of the details that were seen on the site before it was taken down:

Well you can now purchase the Dark Corners DLC for Gears of War 2 for 1200 Microsoft Points which will include 7 maps and the Road to Ruins Deleted Campaign Scene or the All Fronts pack which for 1600 points which contains Dark Corners and all other previous DLC bringing you a total of 19 maps.  The is Double XP for Gears of War 2 up until August 3rd but you can only get double XP while playing Horde or the Dark Corners Playlist which is rather odd.  This might change but we will keep you updated.

Well it’s finally here the first footage and details of Modern Warfare 2 Multiplayer.  Confirmed through the video we have these new details:

Alex Hutchinson, the creative director for Army of Two: 40th Day confirmed a few things about the games multiplayer at Comic-Con.  The multiplayer will be expanded from the first game and there will be support for more than four players to play online.  There will also be a few modes when it comes to the online play, expanding 40th Day even more.  The game will also feature a ‘fully client/server’ connection online.  The game comes out later this year for the Xbox 360, PS3 and will also have a PSP version.
