The multiplayer for Avatar: The Game looks cool but only time will tell if it actually is.  Avatar: The Game will be out for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Wii and PC on December 1st.  The movie is out on December 10th.

Fight Night Round 4 is getting some new DLC this week.  It will add 3 new fighters as well as some new game modes.  The DLC is entitled ‘Rivalries’ because you will get to re-create some famous rivalry fights. Along with the DLC will also be some changes added to the game to fix certain issues.

Here is a new Developer Diary for Dead to Right: Retribution.  Dan Calvert explains how Dead to Rights is all about extreme visceral combat as well as the action and adrenaline.  You will also get a look at your pet dog that will fight by your side, which more like a wolf.  Dead to Rights: Retribution currently has a release date for early 2010 for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.

The Aliens vs. Predator Movies might have taken a turn for the worse but this game looks amazing.  You will be able to play as Marine, Alien or Predator and as the video obviously showcases, the game will support multiplayer as well as a horde type mode where you will have to fend off waves of enemies.  Aliens vs Predator will be released for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC in February, 2010.

In Mass Effect 2 Commander Shepard and the crew of the Normandy head to the quarian flotilla where they find Tali on trial for treason and facing exile. Despite Shepard’s protests on her behalf she is exiled for her alleged crimes. Following her exile she reteams with Shepard and the crew of the Normandy and assists them in their mission to put an end to the Collectors’ campaign of mass human abductions across the galaxy. Following their naming conventions she becomes Tali’Zorah vas Normandy in the eyes of the quarians at this point.

Tali’Zorah nar Rayya is voiced by Liz Sroka and is a Quarian Machinist class.

This video shows off the Adept Class in Mass Effect 2.  This is one of the six classes you can choose from in the game.  The Adept can now curve pulls, letting him grab enemies from behind cover.

Uncharted 2 now has a free update which is now live and it will bring a few new things.  The first is the new multiplayer map ‘Fort’ which is based on the single player level ‘Fortress’.  Leaderboards have also been added to the main menu adding Global Competitive Wins, Global Co-Op, Global Kills, Global Money, Friends Competitive Wins, Friends Co-Op, Friends Kills, and Friends Money.  From the multiplayer menu you will also be able to view your player card right from there showing your level, wins, kills, cash, etc.

This weekend will also be a ‘Double Cash’ weekend for multiplayer.  All cashed earned will be double in multiplayer and you will also be able to play as different character skins in mulitplayer. The event begins Friday 10:00 AM PST and ends Monday 11:00 AM PST.

You can now purchase Transformers Avatar items through the Xbox 360 Marketplace.  There is a Megatron and Optimus Prime helmet as well as a number of different t-shirts available, all from the recent Transformers Movies/Games from Michael Bay.  Is it worth buying?  No.

I hope you speak Japanese because this final Final Fantasy 13 trailer is all spoken in Japanese with no subtitles.  But regardless, Square Enix has once again proved they skill and dominance in the graphic/character model department.  The visuals for this game look absolutely amazing. Final Fantasy 13 will be released on March 9th, 2010 for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.

‘The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned’ DLC is now available for Borderlands for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.  It will run you 10 bucks and has added Achievements/Trophies.  For the Xbox 360 it brings the grand total for available gamerscore to 1125.  Here they are:

The Bioware website for Mass Effect 2 has been revamped and made easier to navigate.  The site currently has a slew of information on Mass Effect 2 as well as an iPhone game, Lithographs, Comic, Novel, Wallpapers, Screenshots, Statues, Weapon/World Details and much more.  Check it out here.  Mass Effect 2 will be available for the Xbox 360 and PC on January 26th, 2010.

A fellow the press is calling ‘Will Statton’ is 48 years old and has been a Judge in Britain for 15 years.  Will not only went to the midnight release for Modern Warfare 2 but called out sick the next day to get some killing done in Modern Warfare 2.  Upon him not going to work, it held up a pending trial which is typical when there is no Judge to be found.

The new trailer from CAPCOM and Airtight Games for Dark Void features an enemy called ‘The Watcher’.  It’s hard to make sense of the video but regardless, other videos with gameplay of the game makes it look awesome with it’s third-person vertical mid-air combat.  Dark Void will be available for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC on January 12, 2010.

This new Battlefield: Bad Company 2 trailer shows that DICE is bringing all fun moments from  the original Bad Company to the sequel.  The game is out on March 2nd, 2010 for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC.  Playstation 3 owners can now play the beta for the game if they pre-order through Gamestop.  Pre-ordering the game on any platform from Gamestop will also net you instant access to the AKS-74 assault rifle for multiplayer.

The Borderlands DLC entitled ‘The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned’, is coming this November 24th for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 for 9.99 or 800 Microsoft Points.  If you can find time to take a break from playing all the recently released blockbusters such as Modern Warfare 2, Assassin’s Creed II and Left 4 Dead 2 (wow that’s a lot of sequels), this DLC might just be pretty good.  Gearbox has dedicated a site just for this new DLC that you can check out here.

The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned will feature ofcourse zombies such as crawling torsos and exploding tankensteins.  The site will have a trailer up soon and has more screenshots up now.  As long as you are level 10 or above the enemies with scale with you on the Island.  Dr. Ned once worked for the Jakobs gun manufacturer until the company abandoned him when his experimentation’s with the undead went all wrong.  No official word yet on when it will be available for the PC but stay tuned.
