Battlefield 1943 the online arcade shooter, is half off on the Xbox 360 this New Years Eve only.  It’s only 7 bucks and you will need Xbox Live Gold to purchase which you will need anyway if you want to play the game.  Yesterday Castle Crashers was half off.  It’s a good deal and people are still playing it online.. a lot of people.

You can be a freakin’ dragon.  Nuff said.  The RPG, Divinity 2: Ego Draconis will be out for the Xbox 360 and PC sometime in 2010.  You can download the demo for the game right now.

You play as Nier as you try to find a cure for your daughters sickness.  Nier is currently scheduled for release in the second quarter of 2010 for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.  The developers who brought us Bullet Witch, Cavia are behind Nier and will hopefully bring a much better game to the table than their last.  To view a trailer with actual visual gameplay footage go here.

In Mass Effect 2, you will be able to import your save file from Mass Effect 1 to integrate it with the sequel.  The higher the level of you Mass Effect 1 Shepard, the more bonuses you will get.  Some of these bonuses include boosted stats and abilities.  Along with the bonuses, importing a ME1 save file will also effect the outcome and story plot through out the game.  For more information on this importing Mass Effect 1 save feature, go here.  Mass Effect 2 comes out for the Xbox 360 and PC on January 26th, 2010.

Here is the Midnight Riders rendition of a well known Christmas tune entitled “All I Want For Christmas is to Kick Your Ass”.  The quartet, the Midnight Riders are the band that has there music playing throughout Left 4 Dead 2 including a level of a live concert that goes horribly wrong and the band doesn’t seem to stick around long.

This television commercial is short and to the point… you have f**king shoe-guns.  Bayonetta will be out for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 on January 5th, 2010.  There is currently a demo you can download for the game on both consoles as well.

Army of Two: 40th Day will be out on January 12th, 2010 for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PSP.

Here is a new trailer for Heavy Rain and it is not in English, but shows off what looks like a nicely polished product at this point.  Heavy Rain will truly be a unique game as it is a thriller where you will take on the role of different characters and shape the story as you go.  Heavy Rain will be exclusively available on the Playstation 3 in February, 2010.

The second patch for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is now live and fixes a number of things for the Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and PC that have been plaguing the online community.  This patch will fix the following issues:

- Balances the Model 1887 Shotguns.
- Glitch to get to 10th Prestige fixed.
- Private Match glitch where it is merged in a public lobby fixed.
- Infinite Ammo glitch fixed.
- Texture Hack on PC fixed and eliminates edits to IWD files.

Here is the opening cinematic for the upcoming second DLC pack for Borderlands.  It is entitled Mad Moxxi’s Underdome Riot.  The DLC will be available on Xbox Live on December 29th and the Playstation 3 on January 7th.

Visceral Games wishes you a Merry Christmas from Hell with this Dante’s Inferno trailer.  Take a look at The Worst Day of Christmas.  A demo for Dante’s Inferno is now available on the Playstation 3 in all it’s gory awesomeness and on December 24th the demo will hit the Xbox 360.  The full game will be out on February 9th, 2010 for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PSP.

In this trailer for Aliens vs Predator, it tries to convey somewhat of a story.  This games looks like it’s going to be amazing but definately not because of it’s story.  You will be able to choose the role of Marine, Alien or Predator in February of 2010 for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC.

Wearing a badass hockey mask in Army of Two just feels good, but the sequel, 40th Day will take it a step further.  Army of Two: 40th Day will have a mask creation area and here is a video featuring just that.  You can also create your own mask through the website right here.  The game will be out for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PSP on January 12th, 2010.
