If you don’t know where the above quote is from… I hate you.  Anyway, the game Alpha Protocol has taken the title of being ‘The Espionage RPG’.  We all know that if it really is true to that title, that it will have its fair share of 007 ‘esk gadgets.  That is exactly what this fifth developer diary of the game showcases.  Alpha Protocol will be out for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC on June 1st, 2010.  It is being developed by Obsidian, who has titles under their belt such as Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and Neverwinter Nights 2.

Here is the latest trailer for Alpha Protocol, ‘The Espionage RPG‘.  Brought to you by Obsidian, the creators of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2 and Neverwinter Nights 2.  Alpha Protocol comes out out on May 28th for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC.

After being delayed from its original release date of October 2009 to Spring 2010,  Alpha Protocol has once again been delayed for a third time, now set for a Summer 2010 release.  Obsidian has said the game was delayed again to really polish the graphics and work on the mechanics of the AI.  Alpha Protocol is an espionage RPG/Shooter that will be released for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC.

Another game has now been delayed that was originally supposed to come out this holiday season.  Alpha Protocol now has apparently been pushed back until Spring of 2010 for the Xbox 360, PC and Playstation 3.  The release date for Obsidian’s ‘Espionage RPG’ is always subject to change especially since its original release date should have been a year earlier than Spring 2010.

This game looks sick.  From the game developers known as Obsidian comes a new kind of espianoge game.  Obsidian has also previously brought us Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II and the Neverwinter Nights series.  Alpha Protocol comes out October 6th, 2009 for the Xbox 360, PC and Playstation 3.

If you planning on picking up Alpha Protocol, you might want to pre-order it at Gamestop as you will recieve an in game Assualt Pack.  The game is from the makers of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2 and will be out for the PC/Xbox 360/PS3 on October 6th.  The espionage title will have the KOTOR RPG style element to it. Gamecrazy will have a similar pre-order bonus for the game but here is what you get if you pre-order with Gamestop:

Obsidian Entertainment’s success started when they made a game called ‘The Knights of the Old Republic II’ and went on to make other great games.   Now they have yet another release coming called Alpha Protocol and they are dubbing it ‘the espionage rpg’.  You play an agent cast out by the government with important information.  The actions you take in the game will ultimately decide what kind of person you are and how the game will unroll.  The game will be released for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC on October 6th, 2009.  Probably one of the best things about the game is that you get an achievement for having as many girlfriends as possible.. at once.    Check out the box art:
